THE ROLE OF MUSIC IN MEDIA

My Central Idea was music in media can influence our perceptions and feelings. The lines of Inquiry for this unit were as follows:   How music can influence our perceptions (Causation) and how music affects our feelings(Change). Students inquired into the use and role of music in Media. Under the Strand Creating, students created jingles for different products using simple percussion instruments, keyboards and guitars.
